Georgetown: Another killing in the interior, this time by a pork knocker who is claiming that a woman stole his raw gold. He strangled and clubbed his employer's wife to death. The man was seen associating with the woman Donna Lakeram after an argument broke out. It was then he attacked and she collapsed. The police caught him and he will be charged shortly for the capital offence. This is just the latest attack at mining camps in the interior, as miners continue to operate under heavy guard and fear. Their closest associate can be a threat as many reports of gold find continue in the mining areas. The price for gold has sky-rocketed to almost $1500US. per ounce. So far there has been no word from the gold and diamond miners association as the situation continue to get serious.
