The bones found in a gully at Warrens, St Michael were not those of Rasheeda Bascombe who when missing 11 years ago.
A senior police official told Trakkers News that forensic test had indicated the bones were that of an animal.
Rasheeda, a student of the Parkinson School was 11 years when she disappeared. Her grandfather Winfield Nurse was charged with her murder two weeks ago.
