Boy hurt in stone throwing incident

Bridgetown.

An 11 year old boy is recovering at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, after he was struck on the left side of his head  by a rock as he was about to catch a bus last week.

According to a source, he suffered from a broken skull and memory lost., the child caught in a fight path and was struck by a rock thrown at another student.

He had to undergo surgery last Monday to remove a piece of the rock that was lodged inside of his skull and clear the remaining debris. 
Police public relatios officer Inspector David Welch told Trackker News that they were investigating the matter. The incident  took place in the parish of St Joseph.
