Brave mother in critical condition at hospital

Bridgetown.

A young mother is fighting for her life at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) after being burned trying to save her three children during a house fire yesterday.

Lynette Stoute, 23, of Diamond Valley, St Philip, ran back into to her burning house  to search for her children Shamyah 5, Jayden, 3 and  one year old Taleisha who unknown to her had already escaped the blaze.

According to her father James Best and close friend Ronesha Haynes, the brave rushed back into the burning three bedroom timber and wall house to look for her children although they told her that they were safe.

Moments later a badly burn Haynes stumble out of the and collapsed and was later taken to the QEH by ambulance.

Haynes, the godmother's of the children who lives on the opposite  told the press:"When I rushed out of the house, I saw Shamyah and Jayden on the walkway coming towards me and then the baby came out and I snatched her up.Then Lynette ran out, we keep telling her the children were safe but she did not listen to us".

Stoute is in a critical condition at the QEH with 83 percent burns on her body .
