A British couple were stabbed and robbed after a intruder broke into their luxurious villa last Friday.
Police Public Relations Officer Inspector David Welch that lawmen are investigating the robbery and stabbling of British Professor Dr James Bridges, 72, and his wife Dr Olga Bridges, 62, who were at million dollar villa located at Sand Street, St Peter in the north of the island.The robber got away with a bag containing att their cash and credit cards.
Welch told Trakker News the wife was detained at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with a ruptured disphragm, ruptured spleen and a broken rib.
Professor Bridges is a former chairman of the Europen Commission's on Emerging Health Risks.
