Minister of Finance, Chris Sinckler, thinks that the building boom in Barbados which was flattened by the economic recession, could see a resurgence in another three to four months.
Sinckler told Trakker News that by August or September, six major building projects will be on the way.
According to Sinckler, preliminary work is being carried out at the Four Season site and that the project should be fulling running in another two months or so.
Sinckler stated that the Beachland, St James development had restarted on April 21 and beachside work was being carried out.
" Government has three major high rise housing projects, Valery, which has already started, Deacons, which is going to start in the first week of July; and The Grotto, which is going to start around the same time", Sinckler added.
