The police are warning business places to strengthen security for the holiday season. Public relations officer of the Royal Barbados Police Force Inspector David Welch says, individuals are moving around identifying and targeting businesses which appear to be vulnerable.
"Therefore it is imperative that all employees of businesses stay on the lookout for people who may hanging around without conducting any business", Welch said.
"Those businesses who operate at late hours have to pay attention to security, they should be aware of suspicious activity outside their businesses, write down the numbers of any suspicious vehicles and don't keep large amounts of cash on their person or at their businesses", he advised.
On Monday night,a gas station at Pilgrim Place, Christ Church was robbed by two men who were believed to be armed, robbers struck again on Tuesday afternoon, two service attendants were robbed at Four Road, St John.One was slightly injured.
