Georgetown : At a post-Cabinet media briefing today, at the office of the President, Head of the Presidential Secretariat, Dr. Roger Luncheon advised that ‘no objections’ were granted to contracts in several sectors.
Contracts were approved for Housing and Water for 12-inch pipes for the completion of Transmission Mains from Eccles to Providence, along the East Bank of Demerara at a cost of $20.5 million.
$1 billion for the design and completion of digital stamping exercise for alcohol and tobacco products for the Guyana Revenue Authority.
$51.1million for the Guyana Elections Commission to offset rental payments for 20 plus properties across the ten administrative regions.
