Cabinet at this week’s meeting give the green light for $US 85,448 for the provision of non-sensitive office and other elections-related materials for the hosting of the 2011 general and regional elections, this was disclosed by Cabinet Secretary, DR. Roger Luncheon.
He said $US359,157 was approved for procurement of watermark paper to be used in the Official List of Electors (OLE) and other items for the elections.
General and Regional elections date will be announced this week by President Bharrat Jagdeo.
