Bridgetown.
Redjet will bring various benefits to the region and should be embrace by the Governments of the Caribbean.
This view was expressed by acting Prime Minister of Barbados Ronald Jones yesterday, reacting to comments made by Prime Minister of Jamaica Bruce Golding, that Barbados was promoting a "tit for tat" response to Jamaica reluctance to allow Redjet to commence flights there.
Jones said; "We are not going to be caught fighting; there is not need to fight. There is a need to encourage persons to see new visions for the development of the Caribbean. Redjet brings a viable solution for travel in Caribbean".
"All Prime Ministers and aviation ministers where the airline would fly ,should embrace it be it is going to be a benifit to their country, anything else is shortsighted", Jones added.
