East Coast Demerara : A Canadian citizen Peter Faulhaber is today listed stable in hospital and will be discharged soon after being treated for a gunshot wound.
Faulhaber who resides at Oceanville Bel Air, Georgetown was walking along the seawall in the vicinity of Atlanticville, East Coast Demerara yesterday when two men one armed with a firearm attacked and robbed him.
The perpetrators demanded an iPod from the 56 year old Faulhaber who resisted and was shot to his right thigh by the armed man who then took away the iPod and escaped along with his accomplice.
