Georgetown: After Guyana’s Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) seized 36 Kilos of Cocaine from a house at Ogle on the East Coast of Demerara on Friday afternoon, the third suspect was Saturday arrested and police are seeking another person in connection with the over two hundred million Guyana Dollars drug bust. Arms and Ammunition were also found at the Ogle house. CANU officials said evidence collected were handed over to the police, however, law enforcement officers are still to verify the ownership of the house. Reports disclose that the drug was seized based on information received. The house was under surveillance since Friday morning. During the raid, no one was at home, but based on CANU’s intelligence, two persons were subsequently arrested.
