East Coast Demerara : 50 year old pedal cyclist Rajendranauth Rambinan of Perseverance, Mahaicony died in a road accident yesterday at Cottage road, Mahaicony, East Coast Demerara.
According to reports, driver of motor car PGG 751 was driving along the roadway when it is alleged that the pedal cyclist attempted to cross the road and was struck down by the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the Georgetown Public Hospital.
The driver is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
