Georgetown : Investigations are being conducted into a fatal accident that occurred on the Supply Public Road East Bank Demerara and which resulted in the death of Quilton Greene, 45 years, of La Penitence, Georgetown.
According to the police Quilton Greene was driving a motor car along the roadway yesterday where he collided with a motor lorry that was travelling in the opposite direction.
He received injuries and was taken to the Diamond Diagnostic Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The driver of the motor lorry is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
