Mahaica : The police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred at about 5:30am today at Mahaicony, East Coast Dmerara, and which resulted in the death of Turrick Mc Lennon, 23 years, of Zeskendren, Mahaicony.
Investigations so far have revealed that Turrick Mc Lennon was allegedly driving a motor car at a fast rate, when he lost control of the vehicle and collided with a motor lorry that was travelling in the opposite direction.
He received injuries and was pronounced Dead on arrival at the Mahaicony Hospital.
Three other occupants of the motor car also received injuries. Elias Ross, 25 years, of Zeskendren has been admitted to the Georgetown Public Hospital, while Hollin Roberts, 22 years, of Farm, Mahaicony, has been admitted to the Mahaicony Hospital. Calvin Mc Lennon, 21 years, of Farm, was treated and sent away.
