Dominica : A meeting between CARIFORUM and the European Union (EU) got underway in Dominica on Friday morning.
One CARIFORUM official told DNO that the grouping has some concerns that will be raised during the meeting but refused to go into any details.
The Dominica talks bring together CARIFORUM and EU officials for discussion on issues including the EPA. It follows a 2010 meeting of the political directorate of the two blocs involved which took place in Jamaica.
At the meeting dialogue is expected to offer an opportunity to concretise areas of cooperation between the two blocs, according to Ruth Allport acting permanent secretary in the Ministry of Trade.
A communique on what is discussed is expected to be made after the meeting.
DNO will provide more information on this meeting later.
