American celebrity hairstylist Karl Jackson was last night charged with four counts of evading liability.
Jackson was arrested by the police at the Grantley Adams International Airport, mintues before he boarded a plane bound for the United States.
Jackson staged a hair show in the Wildney Gymnasium of the Garfield Sobers Complex last Sunday.
Fifteen salons participated in the show, the first prize of US$10,000 was won by Cherryann Thorne, who refused to comment on whether she received her money.
Jackson will appear in District Magistrates Court this morning.
