Bridgetown.
Lawmen were called to restore order at the LAIT check-in counter at Grantley Adams International Airport this morning, as several passengers who were stranded in Barbados for the past two days due to a strike by LIAT pilots vented their frustration at being placed on stand-by, while passengers with tickets to travel today were being allowed to fly to their destinations.
Several passengers protested this action by LIAT saying they were left stranded due to the strike by employees of the airline and should begiven priority over all other passengers.
They said the airline had treated them shabby and did not showed concern over their plight.
