Chief Security of the Central Bank remanded

Bridgetown.

The Chief Security Officer of Central Bank of Barbados Charles Pile, was remanded to HMP Dodds when he appeared in the District B Magistrates Court yesterday charged with two counts of illegal possession of firearms and illegal possession of ammunition. 

 Pile of The Mount, St George, was arrested and charged, after police officers  found the guns and ammunition at his home last weekend.

He was scheduled to make a presentation on The Lastest and Furture Trends In Financial Crime  at the 34th annual conference of Crime Stoppers International at Hilton Barbados yesterday.

Pile was remanded to HMP Dodds until October 30.
