Georgetown: Trakkernews understand that the Advisory Committee on Broadcasting has recomended that the television license of Chandra Narine Sharma owner of Channel 6 be suspended for 6 months. This follows allegations of infringement, libel and character assasination by Chairman of the Ethnic Relations Committee Bishop Juan Edghil. Last evening after CN Sharma got word of the impending closure of his station, he immediately filed an injunction through his lawyer to prevent the possible move and for the court to show why the motion should take effect to shut him down. In the injunction Sharma questions the make up of the ACB, since the sitting members are not impartial and thus any recommendation cannot be seen as fair.
