Cold feet

Some of the 11 Members of Parliament who have written a letter to Prime Minister Freundel Stuart, expressing concern over his leadership style are now having cold feet.

A n of them are now denying any knowledge of the letter or any issues with the Prime Minister according to source, Stuart held talks with individual members of the complaining group before leaving the island for New York yesterday.

The source said, while the leadership issue is far from being settle it is likely that common sense would prevail and that the diaogue would continue internally.

Eight members of the 19 member Cabinet signed the letter, they are Ronald Jones, Minister of Education and Human Resources Development, Chistopher Sinckler Minister of Finance and Economic Development, Adriel Brathwaite Attorney General and Minister of Home Affairs,Michael Lashley Minister of Housing and Lands, John Boyce Minister of Transport and Works,Steven Lashley Minister of Family, Culture. Sports and Youth,David Estwick Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resource Management and Donville Inniss Minister of Health.

 Three backbenchers James Paul, Hamilton Lashley and Mara Thompson the widow of the late Prime Minister David Thompson have also signed the letter.
