Trini Fraudster resurfaces using diplomatic credentials.

Immigration officials and police are asked to be on alert for a seasoned Trinidadian fraudster named Anthony Nester who has resurfaced in Guyana. He is no stranger to the police and courts here after being charged back in November last year for scamming two hotels. He was fined 100,000 and ordered by the court to pay in excess of 260,000 which he owed the Bransville Hotel for services rendered which he refused to pay for. He was also ordered to pay Eldorado Inn over 130,000 after he attempted to defraud the facility. The court then ordered his deportation. Now the con man is back ! A reputable company in Triumph was last Friday his latest victim. He now operates as a procurement official attached to the Ministry of Education of Trinidad. Information is that he ordered a large quantity of chair combos from the company and allegedly took monies totaling about 800US to have the company accredited internationally and for tender documents before the deal goes through. He made contact today with the company through its accountant who on Saturday discovered who they were dealing with. Efforts are being made to alert the police. Information is that he is traveling on a diplomatic passport and is an active member of the Rowley government.
