Georgetown : Head of the Presidential Secretariat (HPS), Dr. Roger Luncheon advised that Cabinet at its April 23 statutory meeting offered its no objection to two contracts in the infrastructure and education sectors.
Contracts were approved for Supply and installation of a PLC system for the retractor/acceptor span at the Demerara Harbour Bridge to the tune of €57, 200.
The second contract was approved for Purchase of laptops for teachers under the Guyana Improving Teacher Education Project (GITEP) at a cost of $29.8M.
