Berbice : The police are investigating the murder of Rojen Basdeo of Corentyne, which occurred minutes to 12:00am today on a cattle ranch in the backdam at No.56 Village, Corentyne.
Initial investigations have revealed that 35 year old Basdeo and other workers were socialising when an argument developed between himself and another man during which he was chopped to his neck with a cutlass.
He was pronounced dead at the Skeldon Hospital.
The suspect has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
