Over $150 dollars is owned to the Land Tax Department in by delinquent property owners, Commissioner of the department , Wayne Forde has pledged to collect the money owed to the department.
Notice has already been served in the print media on 39 properties that are now being advertised for sale.
"This is a last resort but one the department has been forced to resort to , I really have reservations with manner some people are managing their responsibilities in relation to land taxes", Forde said.
" The Department will do whatever is necsssary under the law to to recover the substantial monies that it is owed", he added.
