Thirteen tents have already registered to take part in the calypso competions this year.
The National Cultural Foundation (NCF today released the dates for the preliminary judging of the Pic O de Crop and the Sweet Soca compeititions
Tent Managers and other representatives met at the National Cultural Foundation's headquarters for the customary selection of dates recently.
The Stray Cats will be first to face the judges on June 25th to be followed by the Super Gladiators on the 26th of June.
Other judging dates are June 27th for Bacchanal Time, June 28th Experience Tent, June 30th All Stars, Celebration Time will be judged on June 30th, All Stars July 2nd, Ragga Soca July 3rd.
House of Soca will be before the judges on July 4th, Tomorrow Children July 7th, African Heartbeat July 8th, Headliners July 9th, Celebrity July 10th and the final tent to be judged will be the Big Show on July 11th.
