Cuban will remain in jail

Raul Garica will not be release from Her Majesty's Prison Dodds on to the streets of Barbados, Attorney General and Minister of Home Affairs  Adriel Brathwaite told Trakker News Garica release was jail was not a simple matter.

"Given his history because he has been in jail for 15 years is he now a saint," said Brathwaite.

"He claimed to be a Colombian, it was suggested that he go there when he was being released from prison and he said no, Cuba doesn't want him. What are we supposed to do? asked Brathwaite.

Garica remains in prison two years after he competed a 15 year sentence for traffickking cocaine in 2010, he started a hunger strike three weeks ago in an efford to be deported or released into the Barbadian society.

He was born in Cuba lived in the United States from the age of four, both  countries have refused to accept him on their soil.
