CUSTOMS OFFICERS are upset after the arrest of of Customs Guard Owen Moseley Gustoms Guard at the Grantley Adams Airport yesterday.
Moseley, 47, was arrested and warned of intended prosecution after a confrontation with police over a traveller’s luggage.
According to a Customs Officer who was at the scene, the drama unfolded after marijuana cigarettes were discover in the carry-on bag of a departing passenger who was also arrested.
He said when security personnel picked up the illegal drug via a scanner, the information was passed on to the assistant comptroller of customs in charge of the airport, who instructed Customs guards to secure the traveller’s other bags and take them to the baggage hall for further examination.
