One hundred workers in the Drainage Division of Ministry of the Environment and Drainage finally got their wages this morning after threatening strike action.
However the National Union of Public Workers (NUPW) claims there are other problems regarding payment among other agencies in the Ministry of the Environment, including the National Conservation Commission.
Another 100 workers will be paid tomorrow.
