Diamond residents under siege by criminals as another businessman is attacked.

Diamond EBD- Two known criminals are at large as police investigate another attack this time on a Chinese businessman last evening by two robbers who ambushed him as he got home at Block x Diamond access road. Information is that the men neatly cut the zinc to the back of the building to gain entry and waited for the businessman. He was pounced on as he opened the door to his apartment. The thieves gun butted him and ransacked the home before stealing his cellphone and 80, 000 dollars in cash. They made good their escape before the police arrived some 30 minutes later. A call was even placed to 911 but no police turned up. The police were escorted by the brother of the woman who owns the property. Information is that the men may have targeted the businessman who operates the HUA supermarket with his brother in Diamond.(photos Rupesh Singh)
