Telecommunications company Digicel ranked first in the lastest National Initiative Service For Excellence (NISE) Customer Satisfaction Index Report.
In a survey on customer service to the public by utility companies, Digicel came first with a score of 83 out of 100, the Barbados Water Authority(BWA) was second with 70, the Barbados Light & Power Company was third was third with 59 points and LIME was ranked last with a score of 58 for its fixed line telephone service, 53 for its mobile service and 52 for internet satisfaction.
Chief Executive Officer of NISE Kim Tudor said customers generally felt they were not getting quality service from the utility companies.
She said Digicel was the only company meeting the customers' expectations.
