Dr Charles Grant 50 and his wife Carole Annn 52 were granted bail when they appeared in the District A Magistrates Court yesterday.
The Grants of Eagle's Nest, Dairy Meadows, St James were charged with 18 counts of theft from the Sandy Crest Medical Centre, Holetown, St James totalling over $562,725.
The offences were alleged to been committed between November 2008 and January 2010, while Grant was the managing director of the medical centre.
Bail was was posted at $250,000 each with a surety, the Grants will return to the court in January.
