Region One : A male employee is dead and a woman is in a critical condition at the Georgetown Public Hospital GPHC as a result of a confrontation with his employer, a dredge owner at Big Creek, Port Kaituma, North West District (NWD).
It is alleged that the suspect of Oronoque, Port Kaituma, NWD who is yet to be arrested left his mining camp to conduct business. Upon his return he saw the deceased before his demise in a compromising position with a woman with whom he is friendly, proceeded to inflict multiple chop wounds to their bodies.
Junor Joseph age 22 years, of Onderneeming Essequibo Coast died before receiving medical attention while the woman was referred to the GPHC from the Port Kaituma Hospital in a critical condition.
Police in Division ‘E&F’ are continuing with their investigations.
