East Coast Demerara : The police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred at about 11:30 pm yesterday on the Planters Hall Public Road, Mahaicony, ECD, and which resulted in the death of Deodat Singh, 44 years of Happy Acres, ECD.
Deodat Singh was driving motor vehicle GJJ 4811, allegedly at a fast rate, when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a utility pole and some concrete piles. He received injuries and was taken to the Georgetown Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
