Georgetown : Leon Phillips, a driver attached to RRT Enterprises, a local automotive company, was sometime after noon killed instantaneously when he was pinned below the carriage tray of a truck.
The incident occurred at the junction of Church and Albert Streets, Georgetown.
According to reports, Phillips who is popularly called ‘Big head’, was at the time effecting some repairs below the truck tray which he had erected on its hydraulic lifts.
The lift holding the tray upright apparently failed and slipped pinning Philips and severely damaging his neck.
His body was removed and taken to a city mortuary pending a Post Mortem.
Police are investigating the incident.
