Driver made costly error in judgement- sent car in trench after jumping major road.

Georgetown- The driver of a canter truck seen in the photograph, said he saw the mini van coming from a distance on the Garnett street major road and thought "he could make it". He was wrong, that thought almost killed  the driver of PNN 1219 and put him in alot of expenses, after the minivan spun several times and ended head on into the Middleton street trench. The visibly shaken driver manage to escape unhurt and said that he had no idea that the truck driver would have proceeded at the four corner, by the time he realised what was happening there was a loud impact which sent him off the road. The driver who worked for a company was seen pleading with the authorities and the driver who he almost killed. He kept explaining that he made a bad call, but onlookers and the driver he hit said that the mistake could have been fatal.

The specific four corner at the junction of Middleton and Garnett street has seen it share of accidents almost weekly. The problem is that drivers fail to stop and is often speeding to jump the major road. There are calls that speed humps be placed at the junction to avoid future accidents.
