Over 800 cannabis plants were seized by lawmen over the past 48 hours in the parishes of St John and St Philip.
A joint operation led by members of the Drug Squad and supported by the members of the Special Services Unit and the Defence Force at Colleton, St John seized 473 cannabis plants, the tallest being nine feet tall. The plants were hidden in a cane field.
Lwamen also seized 390 cannabis plants at Cox Hill, St Philip, along with a bucket of compressed cannabis and a dried bag of cannabis plants.
