Georgetown: Police are investigating the murder Errol “Glasgow “Thomas ,22 yrs ,a miner of Port Kaituma ,North West District which occurred between 00.10hrs and 02.30 hrs on Tuesday at Puruni Landing Mazaruni River by an identifiable male who is presently being sought.
Investigation thus far revealed that whilst imbibing at a shop, the deceased had an argument with the suspect and a scuffle ensued; during the process, it was alleged that the suspect fatally stabbed the victim multiple times to his throat and neck.
The body is presently being escorted to the Bartica Hospital.
