Georgetown : Acting on information received yesterday, police ranks arrested two men inside the Super Songs CD and Electronics Store at Cornhill Street, Georgetown.
They had broken into the store through a door and are reported to have stolen a quantity of digital cameras, MP3 players and camcorders to the value of $1.5 million.
The two men, Deryck Norton, of Cooper Street, Albouystown; and Osafo Denhert of Meadow Brook Gardens, have been charged with break and enter and larceny.
They appeared in court today before Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Beharry-Sewnarine where Deryck Norton was placed on $50,000.00 bail, while Osafo Denhert was remanded to prison.
