Berbice : A fire of unknown origin destroyed a building at 1:00am today at No. 78 village which resulted in the death of Humadat Phurkokatam.
TrakkerNews understands that neighbours observed fire coming from the building occupied by 42 year old labourer, who lived alone, and raised an alarm. Fire Service personnel from Corriverton responded and extinguished the blaze, after the charred remains of the victim were found.
