An earthquake has just rocked parts of Trinidad. The quake which, preliminary reports say, was felt across North Trinidad was unusual in length.
It was felt for about 45 seconds, longer than some in the recent past, and rolled- shaking then subsiding and shaking again even greater around 8.20 a.m.
The UWI Seismic Unit has not yet reported the magnitude of the quake. The last earthquake felt in Trinidad occurred on January 4th and was felt mainly in Maraval. That one's magnitude measured 3.6.
