The Barbadians public can look forward to a reduction in their electricity bills this month.The Barbados Light & Power (BL&P) has announced that the Fuel Clause Adjustment (FCA) for August has dropped approximately 4 cents to 43.1732 cents per kilowatt hour compared to July .
Fuel now makes up approximately 60 percent of a customer's electricity bill and has been one of the main contributing factors to the bills that house-holders have been experiencing in recent months.
The reduction in the FCA will result in an approimate six percent reduction in the customer's electricity bill this month compared to July for the same amount of electricity billed.
