Economic policies need more time to work

Bridgetown.

Minister of Finance, Christopher Sinckler says six months is not enough time for his economic policies to work.

"We are holding our own but you have to give these things time to percolate through the economy", Sinckler said.

"If the Government implement a policy in November and change it  in six month, we will never know what will work and what wouldn't work, economic policies usally don't work that quickly in Barbados", Sinckler added.

He was speaking at a media briefing yesterday.
