Eight murders in six days

Carapichaima: Two more murders have taken the toll for to eight in just six days into 2012.

In the first instance, the bullet-riddled body of a man has been discovered in Caripachaima.

Police say the man who appeared to be in his early twenties was discovered with multiple bullet wounds across his body, south of Mahaica Trace, Caripachaima around nine last evening.

The man is said to be of African descent and wore a greent pants, grey t-shirt and red bandana across his head.

Police are asking for anyone with information on a missing person fitting this description to contact the Caripachiama Police Station.

Meanwhile police are also investigating the chopping death of man at Quinam.

He has been identified as Adrian Hosein of Sinanan Street, Quinam.

Police say that after 11 pm, neighbours saw a white vehicle in the area with blood stains on it and contacted the police.

Police removed the vehicle and found nothing. Around two this morning in an area called Sou-Sou lands near the dumb they found the body bearing multiple chop wounds.

The man has several matters pending before the court for robberies and other crimes.

The murder took place at a dump road leading to the Quinam beach.
