Chairman of National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health, Peter Earle thinks that employers and employees beaware of their responsibilities under the Safety and Health at Work Act 2005.
According to Earle both of them must work together as a team in the maintenance of a safe workplace, in an address at the opening ceremony of tthe Occupational Safety and Health Week at the Accra Hotel yesterday.
He said that in recent times times, Barbados had workplace accidents and injuries that clearly demonstrated the need to prioritise the implementation of a safety management system.
