East Coast Demerara : Mahase Persaud, 20 years, of Enmore, East Coast Demerara has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, dangerous driving and driving under the Influence of alcohol following investigations into a fatal accident that occurred on March 03, 2013, at Nabaclis, ECD, and which resulted in the death of Patrick Lester of Golden Grove, ECD.
He appeared at the Cove & John Magistrate Court today before Magistrate Z. Ali and was placed on $800,000.00 bail for the Causing Death by Dangerous Driving; $100,000.00 bail for Driving under the Influence of alcohol and $50,000.00 bail for Dangerous Driving, for court on April 03, 2013.
