Georgetown: Police this morning are working on a number of leads that may help them in the gunning down of ex boxer Linden Mortley, whose body was found with a gunshot to the side of the head last evening. Based on reports, the former light-welterweight boxer left his Sussex street home in a hurry on his motorcycle. He was earlier speaking on the phone to someone before he left. Investigators have not indicated whether they found his phone at the scene of the shooting. One theory is that whoever was on the other side of the phone may have something to do with the circumstances surrounding his death or direclty involved. The police say that Mortley's killing appears to be a setup. The man's body was identified by his wife just before 8pm at the Festival City bridge.
