Leroy Parris the former executive chairman of CLICO Holdings is schedule to appear in the District A Magistrates Court on April 13.
He and president of CLICO Holdings Terrence Thornhill are accused of breaching an order by the Supervisor which prevented CLICO Life from selling any new business in August, 2009
Under Section 185 of the Insurance Act, Cap 130, anyone found guilty is liable to a find of $1000 or ayear imprisonment and were the offence is continuing a further $200 for every day which the offences continues. .
