EZjet launched Guyana/Trinidad flights

Georgetown : Ezjet Airlines launched their Georgetown to Port of Spain flights yesterday. According to General Manager (Guyana) Rosalinda Rasul, the airline will be facilitating flights out of Guyana to Trinidad three times per week. The three days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays

The flights will be returning to Guyana the same day.

TrakkerNews spoke to several passengers on the inaugural flight who commended the airline for their service. Besides a minor turbulence during the flight, passengers highly commended EZJet for their onboard service.

Passengers were treated with snacks and a choice of tea, coffee, juice or soda.

One Guyanese businessman said he is happy to know an airline now facilitates him to travel to Trinidad where he can conduct his business and return the same day. He praised EZjet for the fare charged US$ 125, citing that it is almost the same cost to travel from Georgetown to Berbice to conduct business.

Meanwhile the Guyanese  media who covered the event were shocked when they arrived at Piarco International Airport, only to be informed that the General Manager there were unaware of the inaugural flight and the few EZjet staff were amaze and claimed they were not inform of a media coverage of the flight.

Late yesterday afternoon Rasul could not be reached to respond to the embarrassment faced by the Guyana media fraternity in Trinidad, and were told she left for Canada sometime yesterday.
