The Royal Barbados Police Force (RBPF) is warning the public to be on the look out for counterfeit Barbadian $100 notes.
In a Press release issued yesterday, the police also warned business owners to be wary during transactions.
“A number of fake Barbadian notes, mainly of $100 denomination, have been seized through investigations and a number of persons have been arrested, charged and placed before the courts," the release said.
According to public relations officer of RBPF Inspector David Welch some of these fake bills have been passed as payment to local businesses.
